- They want Donny van de Beek, Jesse Lingard, Anthony Marshall and Eric Bailly
- Magpies will have money after Saudi acquisition of 305 million pounds

Newcastle United are trying to raid Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s squad during the January transfer window.
Magpie expects to part with a significant amount of cash this winter, after being bought by a Saudi Arabia-backed consortium for £305 million.
The club is believed to have identified four Manchester United players after struggling to secure a regular spot in the Red Devils’ starting XI.

According to Mirror, Newcastle are plotting possible moves for Donny van de Beek, Jesse Lingard, Anthony Martial and Eric Bailly.
Van de Beek’s Manchester United experience has been far from what he expected – after managing only five minutes of Premier League game time.
Therefore, the 24-year-old – who was keen to take on loan to Everton – could snatch the opportunity to join Newcastle.
Lingard is another play that may be interested in leaving Old Trafford during the winter transfer window.
Lingard’s peak performance for United in the 2017-18 campaign. He scored 13 goals and was instrumental in England’s race to the World Cup semi-finals in Russia.

However, he then experienced two average seasons and was later sent on loan to West Ham. During his time he scored nine goals and recorded five assists in only 16 appearances.
After helping Hammer qualify for Europe, Lingard was set to join West Ham on a permanent deal during the summer transfer window.
However, he was assured by Solskjaer that he was part of their first team plans and decided to stay at Old Trafford. Since then he has struggled to feature.
Marshall is another player who could be out this winter. The 25-year-old struggled to make an impact after being out of form last season, scoring just seven goals in 36 games, and has been largely off the bench in this period.
Harry Maguire is United’s captain and Victor Lindelof has been preferred as his teammate, leaving Eric Bailly (left) short of opportunities.

As a result, they have been given the green light to look for a new club. However, if Newcastle should go ahead with the move, they will have to part with £40m due to United’s hefty price tag.
Meanwhile, Bailey – who was Jose Mourinho’s first signing at Old Trafford for £30million in 2016, coming from Villarreal – has also fallen down the pecking order under the current manager.
