Olivia Rodrigo has played her first concert of 2021.

While the musician has made several appearances at live one-off events, this was his first concert of the year, following restrictions brought on by the ongoing pandemic.

Speaking to the audience in Las Vegas, where she was performing at the iHeartRadio concert, Rodrigo said: “It’s a really special day for me because it’s like my first show.”


“I’m so grateful that you guys are here with me to experience this. Thank you very much.”

She continued: “Speaking of the first, this is the first song I put on,” she said, sitting at the piano to begin “Driver’s License.”

After the performance, which was watched by the audience together, Rodrigo replied: “You guys are like the best crowd ever. This is amazing.”

Rodrigo recently performed his track ‘Good 4 U’ at the 2021 MTV Video Music Awards ceremony.

The live performance sees Rodrigo backed by a full band as well as a troupe of choreographed dancers.

‘Good 4 You’ is taken from their debut album, ‘Sorry’, which came out in May via Polydor.

Granthshala Upon release gave the album four stars, saying “Pop’s brightest new thing proves she’s not just a flash-in-the-pan, but a multi-faceted artist who’s in it for the long haul”.
