Omar Abdullah Tweet: Omar tweeted – this is the new Jammu and Kashmir after August 2019, we are under house arrest in our own house

Jammu, JNN. Omar Abdullah, who was the Deputy President of the National Conference, was extremely upset with the Government of Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir today i.e. Sunday. Omar tweeted that we have been placed under house arrest for no reason. He is very hurt by this. They feel very bad that their father and MP Dr. Farooq Abdullah, my sister and their children have been under house arrest without any reason. Omar tweeted while tweeting that this is the new Jammu and Kashmir after August 2019.

Omar also tweeted that, “Come on, your new model of democracy means that we should be under house arrest without any reason.” But the workers at home should be allowed to go out at least. On behalf of the administration, security forces have been deployed outside the house of Omar Abdullah, Farooq Abdullah and other members of his family. Omar Abdullah has also shared photos of the deployment of vehicles of security agencies stationed outside his home on Twitter.

Significantly, on February 13, PDP head Mehbooba Mufti accused the administration of keeping him under house arrest. They had said that she wanted to go to Pulwama but was not allowed to leave her home.
