New Delhi, ANI / Online Desk. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, while presenting the budget on Monday, described it as infrequent. Said that such a budget has never been presented before. After this, it is expected that the atmosphere in both houses of Parliament will be warm. There are speculations that the opposition is preparing to surround the government with agrarian laws and protests by farmers.
The budget session of Parliament began on 29 January with the President’s address, however, the opposition boycotted the address to support farmers who have been protesting against the new agricultural laws for the past two months.
Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Monday unveiled an expenditure plan of over Rs 5.5 lakh crore and said that the country’s growth will be delayed if she does not spend now. Nirmala Sitharaman said that the budget 2021 will give a boost to the economy.
