JAKE PAUL has slammed Nate Diaz after UFC star took aim at Ben Askren for praising YouTuber’s boxing skills.
The 24-year-old knocked out the former MMA ace in the first round in April to register his third consecutive win inside the squared circle.
This was expected to be the former Disney actor’s toughest fight since turning professional, but he vehemently silenced his critics.
Paul then overtook former UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley in a split decision in August.
And Askren, 37, has admitted that he was surprised by Paul’s qualities during his appearance. Lex Friedman’s podcast,
He said: “So the thing I said when I went to fight him [Jake Paul] Maybe he’s good or maybe not. We really have no idea at this point, you know
“I knew Tyron was a lot better at boxing than me.
“And so I thought there was a good chance Tyron would beat him but there’s a chance that Jake is good at it.

“I think Joe played well at it.
“And if you looked at it the way I saw it, he was still impressive in his performance and he clearly put a lot of time into it. So, he’s not bad, that’s all I would say.”
UFC welterweight Diaz hits out at Askane over his views as he tweeted: “Coming from a retired wrestler who can’t fight or box.”
Paul then raged as he compared Diaz’s 13 defeats inside the octagon to Askren’s two.
He commented: “You have six times more damage than Ben Askren. Let him drown.”
diaz then fired back: “That Jake sucks. You’ll smoke for a real fight (sic).
“You can’t really fight a boxing match with only wrestlers. Let it sink in.”
Paul is currently preparing for his dust-up against Tommy Fury in Florida next month.
And he has vowed to embarrass the Fury family because he wants to put out TNT.
He added: “A month to go till December 18th and a complete embarrassment to the Fury family.
