Paulina Porizkova shared her dieting secrets on Instagram on Wednesday.

The 56-year-old model told that she participates in intermittent fasting by following a 16:8 diet in a video.


“I do the 16:8 diet, which basically means you don’t eat for 16 hours and then you eat for eight,” Porizkova said during the video. “I usually take it because I eat whatever I want for eight hours because I like to eat, but I also like more healthy foods.”

However, the former Sports Illustrated swim model admitted that she would give up if she had a craving.

“If I want fried chicken, I want fried chicken,” she said. “It’s like that.”

Still, Porizkova insists that the diet is “really easy” to follow.

“It’s really really easy,” she said. “When I first started doing this diet I was hungry the first time. I was obsessed about food, but then it became fine. Now, I don’t even think about it. In fact, I don’t.” I am hungry after 16 hours till I feel hungry.”

Porizkova said that “it’s obviously personal to everyone.” “But you asked what I did, and so that’s what I do,” she said.

Porizkova recently showed off her body during a nude photoshoot. The models said most of the responses were positive, but they dealt with some negative ones.

“Most of the responses have been overwhelmingly positive,” said the model. “But negative people are so mean. They’re like, ‘You’re so desperate,’ or ‘It’s time to retire, Grandma.’ But I looked at those pictures of me with no makeup or no clothes on, and I thought, ‘Hey, I look great for my age.'”
