Licy, the widow of PC Andrew Harper, has said her campaign to change the law in her name is needed “now more than ever”.
She wants life imprisonment for those who kill emergency workers during criminal acts.
Speaking about Harper’s Rule on ITV’s GMB yesterday, 30-year-old Lissie said: “I’m not going to stop until we get to it as soon as possible.”
She said: “Andrew was just the epitome of a police officer.
“He was dedicated and devoted to his work.
“He was also just a kind and loving person, and we all miss him dearly.”
Andrew, 28, was dragged to death in August 2019 after a quad bike was stolen in Berkshire.
Henry Long, 19, received 16 years, Jesse Cole and Albert Bowers, both 18 years in prison, 13 years in prison.
