Peel police seek missing man believed to be in crisis and in possession of firearms

Peel police have issued a public safety alert while they search for a missing man who is believed to be in distress and possessed of firearms.

Police say Reuben Muja, 33, went missing on Sunday, October 3 at around 9:40 a.m. in the Westminster Place and Rathburn Road East areas of Mississauga.

He was last seen on Saturday 2 October at around 10:30 pm


“As the investigation unfolds, police have learned that Reuben Mucka is in distress and may be in possession of multiple firearms,” ​​police said in a release.

He is a medium size and described as a five foot nine male, with short brown hair. Mukja was last seen wearing an olive green windbreaker jacket, white running shoes and a black backpack.

Police say if you see Mukka, don’t approach him and call 911.
