Authorities closed a shopping mall in southeastern Pennsylvania on Sunday amid reports of a shooting incident.
Police and multiple ambulances responded Sunday afternoon to a call about a shooting at Park City Center in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, about 70 miles west of Philadelphia. Police said the mall will remain closed till Monday.
Officials said no major injuries were reported immediately.
A police officer said the scene had been stabilized, and police said in a brief statement that “there was no immediate danger or danger to the public at this time.”
Police said WPVI-TV reported that more than one person was injured, but all injuries appeared to be non-life-threatening.
The mall’s website says that more than 150 stores make up the shopping area in the center of Lancaster County.
Lancaster Online reported that a video posted on social media showed a woman running and screaming after hearing two gunshots, and one of the three men who were near each other landed after the shot ended. But fell.
Lancaster is the seat of a county by the same name in south-central Pennsylvania, which has a population of approximately 60,000 and is the heart of the state’s Amish country.
