The Park City Center mall in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, is closed for a day following a shooting there on Sunday afternoon.

The Lancaster Bureau of Police said the mall is closed due to a “police incident” and “there is no immediate danger or danger to the public at this time.”


A video posted on social media showed a group of two men fighting and running away with shots fired. The caption of the video is “So someone got shot at the Park City mall…”

Lancaster Police said the shooting “did not result in any life-threatening injuries.”

“There were some injuries,” a department sergeant told Granthshala News. “I can’t confirm how many people are, and I don’t know how many are related to a gunshot, compared to people just tripping and falling.”

Park City Center’s 154 stores are located in the south central Pennsylvania city of Lancaster, with a population of approximately 60,000 people.

A notice on the mall’s website said it would remain closed for the rest of Sunday.
