The Mysterious Girl hitmaker recently vacationed in Cyprus with her parents and earlier traveled to Australia to spend time with them.

He explained in his new! Magazine column: ‘My parents celebrated their 67th wedding anniversary last week. 67 years! It’s quite amazing. Papa’s next year is going to be 90 and mother’s is going to be 86.

‘Mom is struggling at the moment, though. She is not doing very well. She is suffering a little and is declining. It’s sad when they’ve been together for so long that age is taking their toll.

‘I was with him a few months ago. We just have to be with him as much as we can. It’s age now. He has all kinds of things going on with him now.

Last week on his Instagram account, Peter said he was ‘sadly age is taking its toll’ on his parents as he shared a sweet picture of himself with them.

He wrote: ‘Happy 67th wedding anniversary mom and dad. Love you both with all my heart. I am happy and sad to post this.

Of course glad they have completed 67 years of marriage together but sadly age is taking its toll and mothers in particular are really struggling.

‘I always pray for the health of you both. I also pray that I can also be the parent half of my children that you both are there for me.’
