Neville angered the VAR call in a 1–0 loss to the New York Red Bulls that left David Beckham’s MLS team.

Patrick Climala’s left-footed effort in the 26th minute took the home team 1–0 as Neville’s men under pressure tried to stop the rot.

Former Chelsea and Real Madrid striker Gonzalo Higuain had drawn Miami level at the hour mark but was flagged off.

The 33-year-old was played in the channel on his right hand, his left side was cut and he saw the strike of his left foot deflecting off the defender.

But it was called offside by the on-field lineman and the video officer confirmed it was the right call.

After losing Atlanta United and Portland to similar scorelines recently – Miami could not make its comeback and fell to their third consecutive 1-0 loss.

And 44-year-old Neville was absolutely furious after the final whistle.

Beginning his press conference, he said he would “go full barrel” before doing a “large-scale investigation” into some of the decisions made against Inter Miami.

He continued: “We’ve got cheated in Portland and we’ve been cheated on again.

“I don’t want to sound like a broken record, but there is something fundamentally wrong with the way referees treat Inter Miami.

“We’re playing in one of the best leagues in the world, and I’m feeling great, but I have a dressing room asking real, real questions about the integrity of this league in terms of our decisions. . keep getting.”

Neville’s team denied a goal for a foul in Portland last Sunday and the former Manchester United man of versatility has had enough.

He said angrily: “We have questioned our integrity this year.

“We had to throw stones and take a lot of **** and when you do wrong you admit it.

“I hope I don’t come across as a bad loser. Congratulations to the New York Red Bulls.

“But I’m sick and tired of getting emails on Mondays: ‘Sorry, the call could have gone the other way.'”

Neville confirmed he had no problem with on-field referee Tony Penso – saying he did well – but directed his anger at VAR.

The former England women’s manager said: “I thought the referee’s game was really good.

“An outstanding female officer has been incredibly let down by the VAR system.”

Miami remains in 11th place in the MLS Eastern Conference with only six games left.

They are eight points behind Montreal, who are seventh in the final play-off spot.
