Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has broken his silence after Thomas Tuchel was sacked as Chelsea manager.
The Chelsea striker has admitted he is saddened by the news of the German manager’s sacking, saying he wants to speak to his former coach ‘as soon as possible’.
Tuchel signed Aubameyang at Chelsea on a transfer deadline of 1 September, but lost his job just a week later. Both were also associated with Borussia Dortmund from 2015 to 2017.

Aubameyang told haters tv After Chelsea’s disappointing 1-1 draw with RB Salzburg in the Champions League on Wednesday night: ‘Everybody knows what my relationship with Thomas was like. It’s always sad when someone leaves the club. Apparently I’ve only seen him for a few days now.
‘When you play football you have to adapt very quickly for certain moments of the season, it can happen.
‘I think he was a little disappointed and sad, obviously. I will try to talk to him as soon as possible. It’s been a crazy week for all of us, it’s part of life, we have to adapt.

‘I think it’s a little sad at the moment, hopefully we’ll be back in better days soon. Obviously, I think it’s a little weird for everybody, not just me, but like I said, it’s football, you have to embrace it.

‘When you play for Chelsea you need quick results, so I’m a little disappointed today.’
Aubameyang was brought in by Tuchel at the last minute to reinforce the Blues’ forward line after the club chased the former Barcelona star for several weeks during the transfer window.
But Chelsea fans were not given a chance to watch the partnership in the Premier League as Tuchel was ousted hours after a 1-0 loss at Dinamo Zagreb.
In 95 games under Tuchel at Dortmund, the former Arsenal and Barcelona speedster netted 79 times and assisted 17 in possibly the Gabon international’s most fruitful partnership.
Aubameyang has yet to score a goal for his new team since his arrival, having played 125 minutes in the Champions League, but assisted Raheem Sterling’s opener against Salzburg.
