PIERS MORGAN: Where is ‘righteous’ President Biden’s empathy towards the innocent Afghan family he slaughtered with a botched drone strike – and why is the tame liberal mainstream media turning such a blind eye to an atrocity that shames America?

Three weeks ago, a US drone strike by a suspected terrorist was ordered for a white Toyota Carola car in Kabul, Afghanistan.

The single Hellfire missile was launched from the MQ Reaper drone, which surveyed its target for eight hours while flying at a maximum altitude of 50,000 feet.

Hellfire missiles travel at Mach 1.3, or 997 mph, so there would have been about half a minute between the missile’s launch and detonation.

The drone did its job and killed the suspected terrorist, who was identified by US intelligence as working for ISIS-K – Islamic State in Khorasan Province, the most extreme and violent jihadist terrorist group in Afghanistan.

Nine other people including seven children also died in this.

Despite immediate reports of innocent civilian casualties, General Mark A Milley, the Chinese-friendly chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, gave a Pentagon news conference several days later in which he described the attack as a “religious strike”.

Righteous, according to the dictionary, means ‘morally right or just’, ‘free from guilt or sin’ and ‘very good, excellent’.

And General Milley certainly seemed very righteous as he defended the decision to ‘neutralize’ the suspected ISIS-K bomb maker who was reportedly preparing for an imminent attack on Kabul airport.

But there was only one problem.

Rather a bigger problem, actually.

The terrorist suspect Zamrai Ahmadi was not a terrorist.

He was a support worker—a $500-a-month employee of the California-based charity Nutrition and Education International.

Three weeks ago, a US drone strike by a suspected terrorist was ordered for a white Toyota Carola car in Kabul, Afghanistan. The terrorist suspect Zamrai Ahmadi was not a terrorist. He was a support worker. Other victims included three of his sons, Zameer, 20, Faisal, 16, and Farzad, 11, one of his brothers, Arvin, 7, Benjamin, 6, and Hayat, 2, Malika, 3. -The elder daughter of another brother, his nephew, Nasir, 30, and Somaya, the newborn daughter of a cousin

None of the other victims were terrorists or affiliated with any terrorist group.

Although they were all from Ahmadi’s family, including his three sons, Zamir, 20, Faisal, 16, and Farzad, 11, one of his brothers had three children, Arwin, 7, Benjamin, 6, and Hayat, 2, Malika, 3- Were. Another brother’s one-year-old daughter, his nephew, 30-year-old Nasir, and a cousin’s newborn daughter Somaya.

So literally an entire family perished in a horrific attack of hellfire and shrapnel that devastated their premises and the surrounding area.

There was nothing ‘righteous’ about this horrific event.

It was a premeditated slaughter of ten completely innocent people.

The Pentagon now acknowledged that it was all a terrible mistake and apologized.

But it is not enough.

It is a shocking, horrific atrocity that is still leading the news.

Instead, the liberal-dominated American mainstream media did what it has done with terrible regularity during this Biden presidency when their boy Joe did something terrible, and responded with a collective ‘Oh dear, what a shame. And move on faster.

Just like he did a few weeks ago with the devastatingly disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan.

To which I say: Excuse me, what?!

How dare you all turn a blind eye to this heinous act with such carelessness?

President Biden must be slandered and harassed from every media roof to the American people, and more importantly, given a fair answer to the remaining members of this impoverished Afghanistan family about how this happened and America with the relatives of Jamrai Ahmadi. What does it want to do? , whose own life is now in grave danger as the Taliban search for the family to work for America.

Amazingly, the family has not called for revenge, although the innocent deaths of their loved ones will soon be used as a justification for revenge by terrorist groups such as ISIS-K.

Instead, he has called for the entire US military command to hold those responsible for the strike suitably accountable.

And they have sought assurances that they will be helped to leave Afghanistan and resettle in the United States or another safe country.

None of these requests are unreasonable.

In fact, they seem to be at the very low end of what the US government should have done that has caused them so much damage.

This was, after all, a family that did much to help ‘righteous’ America on both the humanitarian and military fronts – and then thrashed as a thank you.

And they were branded terrorists for sprinkling salt on the wounds of the victims, who were coming.

Well, they weren’t terrorists.

They were innocent people, and their death is an outrage.

But where is President Biden, the man who vowed to shower the world with sympathy in the aftermath of the brutal, harsh Trump era?

He’s a man who’s lost two of his children, so you’d expect him to understand the horrific child-murdering consequences, especially of the ‘mistake’ of his drone attack.

But according to reports, neither Biden nor any senior member of the US military has made any attempt to contact Jamarai Ahmadi’s family.

I find this inexplicable and utterly embarrassing.

Biden takes it upon himself to evoke the memory of his son Beau whenever he speaks about the fuss of his return to Afghanistan. His press secretary Jen Psaki did it again yesterday when he cited Biden’s “personal loss” in response to a question about a bad drone strike.

I knew Beau Biden well, and his death from brain cancer at the age of 44 was an absolute tragedy.

But this has nothing to do with the events of the past few weeks which have been an utter disgrace to the US and a terrible betrayal to the Afghan people, who relied on the US to deliver on their promises of a better future Was.

A frame grab from Pentagon TV shows Marine Corps General Kenneth F. McKenzie Jr., the commander of US Central Command, announces via videolink, the US withdrew from Afghanistan on 30 August 2021. McKenzie admits the US acted in error when it launched a drone strike in the final days of the US evacuation

And it is very distasteful for the president to continue to refer to his own loss as some sort of distraction tool to be held accountable for the harm caused to many others through his terrible decisions in Afghanistan.

There is something very distasteful in the way the American mainstream media is giving Biden such a pass on his terrible decisions.

Can you even imagine that the scale of 24/7 outrage would still dominate the news cycle if Trump had made mistakes of this deadly magnitude?

But Biden is not treated the same way because he is a liberal and so does most of the mainstream media.

And that double standard is absolutely stinky.

The US drone attack of an innocent Afghan family who worked so hard for America is a horrific moment in modern American history.

The least Joe Biden can do is pick up the phone today to those grieving relatives, offer his own sincere and personal apology, and take them all to America as an urgency so they can live their broken lives without worrying. Can try to recreate. The Taliban is going to kill him.

The blood of this family is on your hands, sir – stop being a coward, admit your ‘mistake’, and call up.
