N’GOLO KANTE proves once again that he is the most humble star of the Premier League – heads out to dinner at Pizza Express.

The Chelsea ace, casually dressed in jeans and a black jumper, made her waiter’s day while posing for selfies at the Italian high street chain.

It is not clear whether Kante chose the famous dough balls as a starter.

But one thing is certain: the World Cup winner is still one of football’s top Mr. Nice Guys.

The modest midfielder was seen doing his shopping at Asda, driving a Mini Cooper, keeping a teammate at his home in Leicester and watching a match of the day with Curry after losing his Eurostar in Paris came to a mosque.

He was too shy to hold on to the World Cup trophy and would race with Fox to train before he was told to motor and drive.

Speaking of motors, Kante was once late for Chelsea after being involved in a car accident – then agreeing to photos with spectators.

Despite his reputation as a good man, Kante insists that the ‘kind’ and ‘nice’ tags are ‘overblown’.

Kante said: “I’m just a normal guy. Needless to say I’m the kindest or the best.

“I’m just a player like others. I think sometimes it’s exaggerated.

“It doesn’t need to happen. There are other people like this in football.”

And former Blues teammate Olivier Giroud reveals what causes the red haze to descend for the mild-mannered tackler.

Giroud previously told talkSPORT: “We are playing chess – I have to say that he is better than me.

“I’m winning something [games against] Him. I asked him to play Scrabble and I’m definitely better than him, much better.

“He’s a funny guy, top guy and he hates to lose. Sometimes he tries everything to win and that’s funny with him.

“He never gives up. He tries to step on the pitch and is very important to Chelsea and the national team.

“Off the pitch, he hates to lose and sometimes it makes him a little upset and angry. I always try to joke around with him, he’s a top guy.”

back in action

Kante’s Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel got a boost ahead of Saturday’s clash with Brentford as midfielder Reece James returns to training.

The French star missed matches against Juventus and Southampton – as well as his country’s Nations League glory – after contracting the coronavirus.

But he clearly made the most of his freedom by enjoying some grub at the popular restaurant.
