Police ‘increasingly concerned’ for missing 12-year-old girl

Police have said they are “increasingly concerned” for the welfare of a 12-year-old girl missing in Oxfordshire.

Avi Bratt was last seen in Banbury on Monday at around 7.20 pm.

She was wearing black leggings and a big blue Nike hoodie. She is described as white, 5 feet tall, slender build, and has strawberry blonde or light brown colored long hair and blue eyes. She sometimes wears glasses.


The police have urged anyone to provide information about the girl’s whereabouts.

Banbury Police Station Investigating Officer Sergeant Paul Smith said: “I am appealing for help in locating Avi.

“We are becoming increasingly concerned for his welfare. I would ask that anyone who believes they have seen him, or has information about his whereabouts, please contact Thames Valley Police.

“If you see this AV, please contact the police or your family.

“We just want to make sure you are safe and sound. Please call the non-emergency number 101 or report online using the reference 43210470789. Always dial 999 in an emergency.
