Toronto police say they are looking for a man linked to a TTC streetcar stabbing incident earlier this month.
Police said they were called to the Spadina Avenue and Wilcox Street area on September 9 at around 10:48 p.m. to a report that a man had been stabbed on a streetcar to the north.
Investigators allege that a man had a verbal confrontation with another person – which led to one person being stabbed multiple times.
Police said the victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
Police described the suspect as five feet eight inches tall, with short brown hair and wearing glasses. He was also seen wearing a light colored shirt with a black collar, dark jacket with a hood, dark pants and dark colored shoes.
“This man is supposed to be armed and dangerous. If located, do not contact and call 911,” police said in a news release on Monday.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the police directly. Tips can also be left in secret with Crime Stoppers.
