A furious student at the University of Alabama in Birmingham on Tuesday accused a preacher of carrying a sign with the wrong slogan.
A man and a woman identifying themselves as campus campaigners indicated that witnesses said sexist messages to the effect that women should stay home rather than be educated.
Seeing the signs, a student attacked the man, punched him and thrashed him.
As the fight began, a bystander recorded what was happening and can be heard gasping in the background: ‘Holy s***!’ As soon as the man was slammed to the ground. Other students can be heard shouting and cheering on the controversy.
