A royal expert claims Prince William and Kate Middleton are ‘normalizing the lives of Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis’, so their youngest doesn’t consider the ‘Duke of York path’ a ‘royal hanger-on’ .

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, both 39, are currently living with their children Prince George, eight, Princess Charlotte, six, and Prince Louis, three, at Kensington Palace’s London home.

Prince Andrew is currently being tried in New York by Virginia Giuffre. She claims that when she was 17, he sexually abused her on three separate occasions – in London, New York, and on the Caribbean island of billionaire pedophile Jeffrey Epstein.

Andrew, 61, who is not facing any criminal charges, ‘categorically’ denies Ms Giuffre’s claims against her and is believed to be keen to return as a working royal.

Speaking about potential changes to the firm going forward, Camilla explained: ‘A lot of small royals have careers of their own, so they’re not really taxpayer funded.

‘The degree to which Cambridge is trying to normalize the lives of its children indicates a lot – yes, Prince George has mapped out his fate but Princess Charlotte and Louis have “their careers”. Is”?

She continued: ‘They have found the right balance of what to do with their lives of their children and their royal commitments.’

Elsewhere in the video interview, Camilla said: ‘The future may see fewer royals than we’re used to. But the question is, are there going to be enough royals to hang out?

Everything is going to change in the next decade. And in combination with the fact there’s going to be less royal, there’s a recalculation of what it means to be royal.’

‘When Trooping the Color happens it’s probably a good idea for us not to see such a huge array of royals on the balcony at Buckingham Palace. The question that arises is who are all these people and what are they doing?’

He continued: ‘The upper echelons of the monarchy are gone – it means there are very few royals to move around.

‘In the days of Prince Philip, he was the patron of over 800 organizations and many people would go on to plant a tree and unveil a plaque.

‘Royals like Kate and William are doing themed royals, largely royal activities with big gestures like the Earthshot Prize or the Early Years.

‘With association, you’ll have less patronage royals. Equally when Charles succeeds to the throne, what is going to happen to all of the Queen’s patronage?’

She said: ‘There’s going to be a problem with the idea that there’s too much work to go around and there aren’t enough royals to cover it.’

‘It makes the future of the monarchy uncertain. We have the model that Rani has been at the forefront and we all know that in the next decade everything will change.’

Earlier this month it emerged that William had labeled Andrew a “threat” to the future of the monarchy, as senior members of the royal family shut the door to the Duke of York.

The Duke of York has been embroiled in scandal this year because of his friendship with pedophile financier Jeffrey Epstein.

It emerged last week that the Metropolitan Police did not speak to Virginia Roberts, before dropping an investigation into claims she was sent to London by Jeffrey Epstein for having sex with Prince Andrew.

Andrew, who lives at the Royal Lodge in Windsor, was photographed behind the wheel of his Range Rover as he broke cover on Sunday night following the latest dramatic development in the case.

Andrew is facing a civil trial in the US after being accused of ‘rape in the first degree’ by Miss Roberts, and said he was abused by her in London after a trip to the Tramp nightclub in Mayfair . Andrew has always vehemently denied the claims and his legal team is trying to get the US case out.

The Metropolitan Police previously investigated the allegations of Miss Roberts, now known as Virginia…
