Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas have a decade gap in age, but that hasn’t stopped the actress from joking around at the expense of her husband.

The 39-year-old actress roasted Jonas—whom she married in December 2018—together with her boyband brothers in a Netflix special, “Jonas Brothers Family Roast,” and had no problem playing the “Sucker” singer.


“Nick and I have a 10-year age difference, so do we,” Chopra said. “There are many ’90s pop culture references that he doesn’t understand and I have to explain them to him.”

“He teaches me how to use TikTok, and I teach him what a successful acting career looks like,” she adds.

Chopra said that she and Jonas found common ground with the fact that they are each influenced by “Nick Jonas.”

“Seriously, I want to talk about how much I love my husband, and one thing I love about my husband is how much we have in common. For example, you You know, we’re both totally, totally obsessed — and I mean obsessed — with Nick Jonas,” she quipped. “We love Nick Jonas. He’s our favorite.”

Despite tying the knot the same year they began dating, Chopra kept the kibosh on any speculation that their marriage was doomed to futility.

“How could this be? I didn’t even know how famous Nick was,” she joked. “All I knew was that he was Kevin Jonas’ younger brother.”

Rumors of an impending split recently spread after Chopra removed his last name from his social media accounts. However, she immediately brushed off any rumours.

In a video clip shared on her Instagram on Tuesday, Chopra said she was “thrilled” and “tickled” at the opportunity to roast her husband, Nick Jonas, and their brothers, whose names I can never remember.

“Seriously though, I love this whole family,” she added in the comedy special. “Nick, Joe, Kevin, you guys are amazing.”

“Nick has changed my life,” she concluded. “I don’t want to baby-sit—I mean, get married—to anyone else, ever.”
