    Questlove’s ‘Summer of Soul’ Doctor Wins Sundance’s 2021 Grand Jury Award

    After about a week from the film premiere, the 2021 Sundance Film Festival came close to handing out awards for some of the films presented during the festivities on Tuesday night. One of the big winners of Sundance this year was Questlove who took home an award Heat of soul (… or, when revolution cannot occur) Documentary, which is about the 1969 Harlem Cultural Festival.     Questlove’s Heat of soul It is premiered at the festival and includes previously unseen footage that sat in a cellar for 50 years. It is also reflected by Stevie Wonder, Staples Singers, Nina Simone, Sly and the Family Stone and other notable names.
