Preparing for babysitting Rami Malek while the parents enjoy a break from their kiddos reads like a logline for a slapstick comedy — but the “Mr. Robot” alum said he actually made Kate Middleton a The bar provided its own babysitting services.

The 40-year-old actor appeared on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” on Tuesday and spoke about the time he met Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge, whom Malek said was “surprised” by their exchange.

“They try very hard to get to know everyone,” Malek told Kimmel about meeting the royals. “Every film he’s done, his previous movies, and you can see he’s done his homework. I just looked at Princess Kate at one point, and I said, ‘This must be exhausting.’ And he said, ‘Why?'”

Malek, who reunited with the Duke of Cambridge at the premiere of “No Time to Die” last week, said it all went downhill soon after the Kensington couple welcomed their third child, Prince Louis, in 2018.

Rami Malek agreed to play the role only if the character had no religious motive.

“I said, ‘You just had a baby, haven’t you?'” he recalled a conversation with Middleton. “I think she was shocked.”

“She said, ‘How are you?’ said Malek. “I said, ‘No, how are you?’ And in the most royal, elegant way, she gave me a look — but you can tell. Imagine you are dressed in nines, have to talk to all these actors…”

“They’re very careful but it’s great because I think I caught him off guard for a second,” Malek said. “And I had that look – in the most beautiful way – that yes, it’s a lot to be a kid.”

It was then that Malek said he offered to enlist his babysitting skills to a trio of royal children: Prince George, 8; Princess Charlotte, 6; and Prince Louis, 3.
