shaft“Member Representative Rashida Talibo, D-Mich., was caught on camera saying he was only wearing a mask as he was being tailed by a “Republican Tracker.”

A Michigan congresswoman talks to a masked attendee at an event in Detroit featuring Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Secretary Marcia Fudge.

Tlaib told the attendee that he only had the mask on because of the tracker, who was filming the exchange, when the person mistakenly thought Tlaib was scolding him for leaving without a mask.

“Oh no, oh, not you!” Tlaib said in the video. “No, no, no – I’m just wearing it because I’ve got a Republican tracker here.”

Tlaib also pointed to the tracker filming the pair’s exchange in the first reported video Washington Free Beacon.

Congress came under criticism in August when it was caught masked on a dance floor in Dearborn, Michigan, while guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) called for indoor masking because of the high coronavirus case count.

A day before the dance floor controversy, Tlaib Sen went after Rand Paul, R-Q., to post a video encouraging Americans to protest the new CDC COVID-19 guidelines .

In response to the Republican lawmaker’s video, Tlaib posted a map of Kentucky showing several of the state’s counties in advanced CDC risk categories.

“KY Senators throwing a tantrum as their state is being swallowed up again by this virus,” Tlaib tweeted. “People are getting sick and dying. Kentucky has high incidence rates of COVID-19 in 98 counties. They need to put politics aside and put people first. Start resisting the virus.”

Tlaib’s office did not respond to Granthshala News’ request for comment on the video.
