Clarkson filed for divorce from Blackstock in June 2020.
Reba McEntire recently commented on Kelly Clarkson’s ongoing divorce battle with estranged husband Brandon Blackstock.
McEntire was previously married to Blackstock’s father, Norville Blackstock, from 1989 to 2015.
“Have you had a chance to mentor her or give her some advice… as a woman and mother in the spotlight while she’s going through her divorce?” McEntire was asked by Xtra’s Alessia Davis.
“You know, I love them both,” replied the country music star. “Brandon’s my stepson, Kelly’s my good friend… I’m pulling for both of them.”

“I hope they are happy and healthy and pulling it though,” she said. “I pray that everyone gives them the encouragement they can because they need it right now, they both do. I love them both with all my heart.”

clarkson filed for divorce In June 2020, after nearly seven years of marriage to Blackstock, citing “irreconcilable differences”. The couple share daughter Rivers, 6, and son Remington Alexander, 4.
Right off the bat, Clarkson was ordered to pay Blackstock $150,000 each month in support of the spouses. On top of that, Clarkson has to pay $45,601 each month to Blackstock for child support, according to People magazine.
The “Since You’re Gone” singer has also been ordered to pay $1.25 million in legal fees to Blackstock.
However, the relationship between Clarkson and Blackstock stay in court. Blackstock originally opposed the document.
