And on Thursday, Rebel Wilson proved that her hard work was paying off as she showed off her slimmed-down figure on Instagram.

The 41-year-old actress showed off her slim frame in a bright red dress as she celebrated Thanksgiving with a photoshoot at the beach in Fiji.

The star looked incredible in extravagant numbers that featured a plunging neckline to tease off her ample assets and a daring thigh-parting.

Rebel looked like she was having a great time while shooting as she was swimming in the water and creating a storm.

The blonde beauty wore her light hair in beachy waves on her shoulders and opted for a glamorous makeup look with pale pink lips.

She captioned the snaps: ‘Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Being Australian I didn’t grow up with this holiday, so the way I see it, it’s time to give thanks and gratitude for all the awesome people in my life. love you guys!’

The Bridesmaids star proudly announced last November that she had reached her goal weight of 75kg (165 pounds or 11.8 stone).

According to People magazine, Rebel’s remarkable transformation is partly down to following the Meyer Method diet plan.

A source told the publication that she got ‘amazing results’ by changing her eating habits while staying at an Austrian health and wellness retreat last year, and continues to follow the plan.

“It’s an approach that eliminates food intolerances, reduces sugar, encourages eating whole foods slowly, boosts the immune system and reduces inflammation,” a source said.

‘She exercises with a personal trainer six times a week, goes for walks and is trying to nutritionally increase her protein intake.’

Earlier this month, Rebel told TODAY Health that she’s developed a new love of running.

‘I feel like sometimes people think you need to work your body really hard to get results, and yes, if you were training to be the next Thor or something like that Were, you would be doing hardcore things, but as a regular person, walking is just so healthy for you,’ she said.

Rebel said she likes to ‘put on a podcast or listen to music’ while on walks, and praised the physical activity for being ‘so easy to do anywhere in the world’.

‘I can just go out and do it. It has become my favorite form of exercise right now,” she said.
