It looks like new music is on its way to Roddy Rich, whose breakout track “The Box” dominated the charts this summer. But unfortunately for the rapper and his crew, the shots went out on set on a video shoot on Sunday. Several hours after this news broke, Wrench has taken to social media to let fans know he is unwell.
According to a report by WSB-TV Atlanta, Rich and his colleague 42 Dug were filming in a scrap yard in South Atlanta when the shots were fired. 42 Dugga made it clear in his Instagram stories that he did not get shot and thanked his followers for their concern. Now, Rich has marked himself safely in a tweet. “Nobody shoots at me. We are all good, ”he wrote after the incident. “Im juss tryna feed on the streets.”

Two members of the film crew, Antoine Blake and Vernon Moulder, were hit by bullets, but were able to transport themselves to a nearby hospital. Another participant of the video shoot, Peter Cook, was injured by the debris as a result of the chaos. Teresa Lakes, a medic who was on set to assist with COVID screening, described the scene as, “Everyone started running, trying to get out or take cover; To cover a lot of places, ”she said. “Whoever was injured, I prepared them to heal them.” Just glad it wasn’t as bad as it could have been … it could have been worse. “
