Robbers swipe beer from NYC bodega after brutally beating elderly worker


According to a video, two men were caught on a surveillance camera brutally thrashing a bodega worker, after which he fled with beer and a cigarette.

In footage released Wednesday, two men walked into a deli and grill bodega in New York’s Lower East Side at around 4.55 a.m. Friday and began beating a worker.

According to New York Post, it came after the activist, aged 65, confronted the two for trying to execute a case of Coors Light.

After two robbers beat a bodega worker with baseball bats, the worker fell backwards and to the floor.

After the two robbers fled the bodega down Grand Street, the New York Police Department asked for information on the attack.

Both men are believed to be 30 years old and of medium stature, and were last seen wearing black T-shirts. One of them has short hair and tattoos, and the other was wearing a black du-rag and had a darker complexion. Fox5.

First responders were called to Bodega to treat a 65-year-old man who had suffered minor injuries in the attack, and was thought to be recovering.
