Speaking at the event, Robbie said: ‘I am honored to announce myself, the most adorable person in Australia, inside and out, the beautiful and incredibly talented Miss Delta Goodrem.
“I haven’t picked any team for Saturday. I know something about footy, I saw the semifinals of Swans and thought it was an incredible advertisement for the sport.
I started the World Cup and it was scary to do that.

The singer confirmed that he would perform at the halftime show after AFL executive general manager Kylie Rogers described him as the “greatest artist in the world”.
