Perpetual Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski has revealed that he is already aiming for four more years at the top level despite being 33 years old.
The veteran smacked Barcelona to the sword in his side’s 3-0 victory in the Champions League last night, tucking a brace with two typically predatory finishes.
Arguably now the best frontman in the world, Lewandowski has followed a strict diet and fitness regime to stay in shape, and has no plans to hang up his shoes just yet.

He said, ‘I am in good shape physically and have the right mindset sports pictures. ‘I can play for many more years, I’m sure at least four more.
‘And then I’ll see, maybe I can raise the bar even higher.
‘This summer I had the best results in my career. If I was 27 a year ago, now I am 25 or 26. My stats are better than ever.

‘And it’s not just about fitness. After a four-week break, I had a better base than ever before preparation.

He has taken the field for both club and country this season, having already scored 10 goals in six appearances for Bayern, improving Erling Haaland’s numbers.
Meanwhile, for Poland, Lewandowski also scored three goals and three assists in their World Cup qualifiers this month.

To boost the rich vein of her look, Lewandowski created a diet regime in place, mastermind by his wife Anna, who strangely sees him eating his course backwards.
His fellow karate World Cup medalists and fitness instructors have helped him maintain his lofty standards, with dessert on the first menu.
They have even more preparation off the pitch, as the couple employ a sleeping coach to make sure they both get as much rest as possible.
Lewandowski’s youth has seen Bayern desperately try to keep him at the club, but chairman Herbert Hainer says it is ‘too early’ to offer him a new deal.

His comments came despite the fact that his top ace has two years left to run on his current terms, and is believed to be interested in Manchester City and Chelsea.
Speaking on Lewandowski’s situation, Hainer explained Picture TV: ‘We are pleased with Robert. But we have yet to extend the contract, we still have 2 years.
‘Like I said, I can imagine that Robert will live beyond 2023. We are in permanent talks with all of our players, including Levi. But it’s still too early.
