The roof at Royal Antwerp has come down… but fans of the Belgian team cannot take credit for it.
Hurricane Auror erupted at the Pro League club’s Bosuil Stadium on Wednesday night.
The brutal conditions caused one of the stand’s roofs to tear off a series of covers, leaving a pile of rubble on the pitch.
Antwerp’s weekend home clash with Club Brugge has been put in doubt.
The storm has also caused havoc in southern England and France.
Midfield Star Radha Nainggolan shared photos of destruction on Twitter.
He wrote: “Autumn winds and pieces blowing around in Bosuille. Name another iconic pairing – I’ll wait.”
An Antwerp spokesman said: “Last night Bosuil was hit by stormy weather.

“Due to the strong wind, part of the roof at Stand One came loose and fell on the pitch.
“At the moment everything is under control, and as a club we have no more problems.”
Antwerp shared a 15-year partnership with Manchester United, which ended in 2013.
Their squad includes ex-United and Leicester defender Richie De Laet as well as former Aston Villa duo Eli Samatta and Bjorn Engels.
Former Middlesbrough midfielder Faris Aarons is the club’s captain, nicknamed The Great Old.
Antwerp coach Brian Priske made headlines in August when he held a post-match news conference naked but for a towel.
