Rylan Clarke and Janet Manara are seen together for the first time as they prepare to present Strictly Come Dancing’s It Takes Two next week.

Rylan, 32, introduced his 37-year-old ‘new telly wife’ Janet on Instagram on Tuesday, as he uploaded a never-before-seen photo of the pair in their dazzling Strictly dress.

The former X-Factor star confirmed the former professional dancer as his co-presenter, captioning his stunning upload: ‘Introducing the new telly wife…..we’ll see you next Monday @jmanrara @bbcstrictly’.

The pair will co-host the show Monday to Thursday at 6.30 pm and Friday at 6 pm.

Her social media confirmation comes when Janet was announced to replace Zoe Ball in the upcoming spin-off show.

The dancer revealed the exciting news on The One Show in June, where she also announced that she had quit as a professional dancer on Strictly after eight years.

Speaking to hosts Alex Jones and Ronan Keating, Cuban-American, 37, Beauty explained how she is ‘excited to be given the chance’ and admitted that leaving Strictly was the ‘hardest part’ of her new role Is.

Janet, who is married to fellow professional dancer Aljas Skorzeneck, will join co-host Rylan Clarke-Neill on the weekdays BBC2 show, during the upcoming series of Strictly.

Speaking about her new role, she told The One Show: ‘Being a part of the It Takes To team is like a dream come true!

‘Although it is impossible to fill a legend like Zoe Ball, I hope to make her and all Strictly fans proud.’

She continued: ‘I will miss dancing weekly on that iconic dance floor, but will always be grateful to be part of the Strictly Come Dancing family!’

Opening up on what it would mean to leave the main show on Strictly, she said: ‘I will not dance. I don’t want to be okay because I’m doing great today, but this has been the hardest part of accepting this wonderful honor to be included in It Takes Two.

‘It’s the realization that I won’t be on that great Strictly Dancefloor anymore. But I think it is the most beautiful and natural progression.

‘I’m still part of the Strictly family, I’ll still be watching my fellow pros all the time and I’ll be dancing as they say. I will find a way to keep dancing.’

In discussing what she would be like as a host, Janet insisted that she would not ‘grill’ her fellow pros and would instead ‘champion them as much as possible’ as they would be the “heroes” of the show. Huh.

Following her on-air announcement, Janet took to Twitter to share a video as she discussed her new role and how she felt about stepping into Zoe’s shoes.

Talking into the camera, she said: ‘Hello everyone, yes it is true. I’m the new co-host with Rylan on Strictly’s It Takes Two. I can’t wait.

‘It’s impossible to fill Zoe Ball’s shoes, but I hope to make her proud and I hope to make you so proud.
