In a teaser clip shared throughout the night, Slash and his band can be seen performing in a studio as the guitarist speaks about the album.
“I think the record is probably the best I’ve ever recorded,” he says in the clip, which you can watch below. “We are showing no signs of slowing down.”
The new album will mark Slash’s fourth with Miles Kennedy and The Conspirators, consisting of Miles Kennedy (vocals), Todd Cairns (bass, vocals), Brent Fitz (drums) and Frank Sidoris (guitar and vocals).
Kennedy told Anne Erickson last month audio ink radio That the upcoming record was “made earlier this year, and it’s in the can”.
“I think the target is precisely when the time is appropriate, we’re going to put it out there, hopefully next year – hopefully early next year,” he said.
Guns N’ Roses, meanwhile, are set to release their new EP, ‘Hard School’, in February, with a 7″ vinyl release in June of next year.
In addition to the title track, the four-track record will include the band’s August single ‘Absorbed’ – written during the ‘Chinese Democracy’ sessions – and live renditions of ‘Don’t Cry’ and ‘You’re Crazy’. .
