Corey Taylor’s son Griffin and Sean ‘Clown’ Crahan’s son Simon have shared ‘Asylum’, their first single from their band Vended.

The track, which you can hear below, has shades of slipknot and its hard-hitting rhythmic patterns.

Vended’s lineup, which was completed by Cole Aspeland (lead guitar), Conor Grodzicki (rhythm guitar), and Jeremiah Pugh (bass), had their first headline gig back in March at the Vaudeville Music Club in Des Moines, Iowa, where Slipknots were made.

The band first formed in 2018, with Taylor and Crahan posting videos of their group online, including covers from their dad’s band.

Wended is set to take the stage again for NotFest Iowa this weekend and NotFest Los Angeles in November.

Meanwhile, Corey Taylor recently got into a feud with Machine Gun Kelly after MGK attacked frontman at Chicago’s Riot Fest.

“You want to know what I’m really glad I’m not doing? The 50-year-old was on a fucking stage wearing a weird weird mask, doing shit,” Kelly told the crowd.

His onstage discontent came after Taylor appeared to dismiss Kelly in an interview earlier this year: “I hate all new rock for the most part. I [hate] Artists who failed in one genre and decided to go rock and I think he knows who he is.

MGK later said that the beef goes back to a “fucking awful” guest verse Taylor did not use until later – a narrative that Taylor disputes.

“Corey did a verse to a song on the ticket to my Downfall album, it was fucking awful so I didn’t use it,” he wrote on Twitter.

“He got mad about it, and talked to a magazine about the same album he was almost on. The yalls stories are all off. Just accept that he’s bitter.”

Taylor responded to Kelly’s claims by sharing screenshots of an alleged email exchange with Blink-182’s Travis Barker, who executive produced “Ticket to My Downfall” and was communicating with Taylor on Kelly’s behalf.

Taylor shared the screenshot of the email on Twitter, writing, “I don’t like people doing private shit like kids. So all I’ll say is: I didn’t get tracked because I don’t like when people write ‘for me’ ‘ Let’s try.”

“I told them no. So without further ado…. #Receipt‘ he continued, before saying that that’s all he would say on the matter.
