The parody puppet reboot is currently in its second series
shadow Streaming platform Britbox is set to return to ITV for a Halloween special following its recent success on the UK.

The second series of the rebooted show premiered in September. The series a satirical comedy proved to be a hit for the relatively new Britbox UK service, and gained a record number of subscribers. The show originally ran for 18 series between 1984 and 1996, attracting 15 million viewers at its peak.
The Halloween special will premiere for Britbox UK subscribers on Saturday, 30 October, and will then air on ITV during the following week.
The new series has caught the attention of several celebrities, including Gary Lineker, who took to Twitter to share a recent clip of himself as a puppet:

Meanwhile, Piers Morgan took to social media to praise the show for its accuracy. “They think they’re making fun of me here but I really believe it…” he tweeted in response to a clip of his puppet taking credit for Emma Radukanu’s win at the US Open.

One report said a sketch showed Johnson, Trump and Putin wrestling naked in a sauna, engaging in a “sword fight”. A source said the show also “given small latex penises to Boris and Trump,” describing Putin as a “monstrous”.
