Stormzy is hosting a Christmas party for residents of Croydon this weekend.

The bash, which is the first from her charity #Merky Foundation, will take place this Friday (December 3) at Fairfield Hall in her hometown.

The event will be split into two time slots throughout the day, with the first half for those ages four and up, and the second half for those 10 years and older, with Stormzy also having fun. will be available to attend.


The party will include games, performances, workshops, a tombola and a chance to win special prizes.

The #MerkyBooks team is also donating 500 copies of their children’s first book, Superheroes: Inspiring Stories of Secret Power,

The comic strip-style book is a festive collection of modern-day heroes curated by Stormzy, which includes athlete Dina Asher-Smith, comedian Mo Gilligan, writer Candice Carty-Williams. Great British Bake Off Star Liam Charles and former footballer Ian Wright.

Tickets are only available to Croydon residents and there is a limit of four tickets per family. Here,

Stormzy launched her charity in 2019, followed by the Stormzy Scholarship, an annual grant for black British students to attend the University of Cambridge.


Meanwhile, the rapper rescheduled his UK and Ireland dates to 2022 on his ‘HITH World Tour’ last month.

The London MC was initially set to tour in support of their 2019 second album ‘Heavy Is the Head’ in September 2020, but those dates were moved to April 2021 due to the coronavirus pandemic.

However, those April dates were postponed earlier this year due to the pandemic, and Stormzy has now confirmed that the gigs will take place in 2022.
