Strictly pro Johannes Radebe got emotional as he made show history as part of the first all-male couple.
The star took to the stage with Bake Off star John White to perform a tango for Blue Monday by New Order, marking the first time a male same-sex couple competed.
After the routine ended, Johannes looked stunned by his fellow competitors and the audience cheering him on.
With his arm around John, Johannes tried to regain his composure as the judges praised the couple.
John was even once seen saying “Are you okay?” to his companion, to which Johannes nodded hesitantly.
Chief Justice Shirley Ballas said, “I think this is a testimony to a gay couple.” “It is absolutely perfect, and to go from being a leader to being a leader, is incredibly difficult and you have executed exceptionally well.
“Beautiful choreography Johannes, absolutely amazing.”
“Last week you said you wanted to make it about dance,” said new judge Anton Du Beke. “Let me tell you, you made it all about the dance because that was a great dance.
“It was really strong. It was really clean — all things I love. It was stylish, it was clean, it was strong, it was powerful, and it was amazing timing at the top.”
“Listen, please keep going like this. And I’ll be happy.”

The pair earned an unbelievable 30 out of 40 for their first routine, closing Johannes again as soon as the score surfaced. John said: “It was amazing, one of the most wonderful experiences of my life. Simply, thank you. It was amazing.”
Talking about learning to switch leads with his fellow dancer, Johannes said: “It’s two twin towers, trying to dance on each other, we caught it. They did it right and I was John’s.” I am very happy with you.”
Strictly Come Dancing airs on Saturday evenings, with results on Sundays.
