Strictly Come Dancing’s Jon White almost forgot about his boyfriend Paul Atkins as he admitted that dancing with pro partner Johannes Radebe is “the happiest time of his life”.
The 32-year-old TV chef was forced to correct himself as he opened up about his time on the BBC dance show It Takes Two this evening.
Speaking to host Janet Manrara, John considered performing live on the dancefloor every Saturday night.
He explained: “You have anxiety first, then within seconds it’s gone and you’re in front of the judges before you know it.
“I’ve never been as happy in my life as I am in those 90 seconds…”

Holding to himself, John quickly improvised: “Also when I’m with my boyfriend and stuff! But on the dancefloor… I just wondered if I could bottle it up and sell it.” [the feeling] That would be an amazing thing.”
The slip-up comes a week after Jon and Johannes sent fans wild with their “flirty” appearance on Strictly’s sister show — where Johannes tells his partner that he “loves” her.
The pair have built a strong friendship as they made history as the first male same sex couple on the hit dance show, and have been a favorite among the audience at home.
However, John’s graphic designer boyfriend couldn’t be less than thrilled with the pair’s sizzling chemistry – Paul was seen furious in the Strictly Crowd after John’s sexy dance with Johannes on the first live show.
He was also the only celebrity not to follow his fellow pro dancer on social media.
John and Paul have been together for over a decade and got engaged in 2017.
