An advertisement for the Inspiration 4 mission highlights a raffle in which the winner will get a chance to travel aboard a SpaceX rocket.

It is part of a mission funded by billionaire Jared Isaacman, which has launched the first fully commercial journey into space.

Mr. Isaacman will also pay for the seats for three other people who will join him on his journey. One will be a customer of his company Shift4 Payments, the other will be a health worker at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, who has already been selected – and the winner of the last raffle, the proceeds of which will also go to St. Jude. .

The Super Bowl ad, titled ‘Join Us’, aims to present the Inspire 4 mission to the public.

It is directed by Bryce Dallas Howard, the people behind the mission who noted that she has been fascinated by space since childhood, having directed episodes of Mandalorian and the daughter of Apollo 13 director Ron Howard. It also featured a version of ‘Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star’ by Celeste and a voiceover by Octavia Spencer.

“The Inspire 4 mission provides us with a historic opportunity to not only explore space, but to assemble a crew representing the ideals of the human race,” Isaacman said in a statement regarding the new ad.

“It is our intention to create a team that reflects the diversity inherent in humanity and our society, while giving back to those in need. I use this moment to bring humanity together and remind people I wish to inspire ourselves and each other to change the course of our future.”

The purpose of the ad is to encourage people to join as part of that raffle. It really gives people the opportunity to connect in two ways: generosity or prosperity seat, either by donating or signing up as a customer of Mr. Isaacman’s new “Shift4Shop” product.

The generosity seat is likely to be the easiest to join. All people have to do is donate at least $10 to the research hospital – which can be done from the website – although entrants can donate as much as they want, and donate more will receive more “tickets” and therefore a higher chance of winning. There will be a possibility.

Second, Prosperity, the seat will go to anyone who signs up to use the Shift4Shop service and posts “an inspirational business story to Twitter.”

Aside from doing one of those two things, the join conditions are relatively simple. Entrants are told that the winner of the seat must be “physically and psychologically fit for training and space flight, and meet the requirements to be admitted to the relevant government facilities”.

Anyone interested in trying to make a place in the mission is asked to visit website of inspiration4, which contains further instructions and rules for both the seats.
