As the pungent weed piled up on the roof and sidewalk of a clothing store, officers could be seen collecting it in bags of evidence—even using a dustpan and brush.

Video of the surprise incident was posted online, with cheeky users quick to point to the shop saying swag with the slogan: “High fashion for the high street”.

A man recording the footage says: “This geyser has ounces and is throwing them out the window.

“All his weed is across the floor. He threw a box straight out the window.”

One bystander said: “Performing illegal activities over a shop called Swag is just asking for trouble.”

Another added: “Imagine there’s a drugs den above a store that boasts about high fashion, lol.”

Police in Erdington, Birmingham, said: “A 34-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply cannabis.

“A crossbow and three counterfeit guns were found in the flat, along with approximately 6,000 pounds, 20 kilograms of cannabis, 24 cannabis plants and other items.”
