Last week, a 13-year-old boy was arrested in connection with the shooting and killing of another 13-year-old boy at the Hunts Point Playground.


The boy, who goes by the nickname ‘Chulo’, was charged with attempted murder, assault and harassment on Tuesday.

According to officials, just after 5:30 p.m. on October 7, the victim had an altercation with the suspect inside the Bronx playground, when the suspect pulled out a gun and shot the victim once in the left knee.

The boy fled west onto Hunts Point Avenue with four other suspects who were wanted for questioning in connection with the shooting.

The victim was treated in a stable condition at Harlem Hospital.

The second person seen in the video shared by the police is being questioned in connection with the incident. He was described as a male; He was last seen wearing a red sweatshirt, light colored jeans, multicolored sneakers and a black fanny pack.
