Telus is reporting a wireless outage on Wednesday that affected customers in Ontario, Quebec and parts of Manitoba.
“We are aware of wireless outages affecting customers in Ontario and Quebec. Our team is already working toward a solution and we will post updates on this thread as soon as we receive them. Your patience Thank you for that,” Tellus said in a statement released on Twitter.
The power outage was reported around 3 pm, affecting Kudo and public mobile customers.
“We know how important connectivity is to our customers, and we sincerely apologize for the service interruption,” Telus spokesperson, Chelsea Razer, said in an email to the Star.
“Our team is still investigating, and we can confirm that services have been fully restored.” Razor added.
Telus encourages users to restart their device if the problem persists.
The reason for the power outage is yet to be ascertained.
