The 95th annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade is returning to its pre-pandemic glory on Thursday, after COVID-19 forced the celebrations to go virtual last year.

The famous celebration began at 9 a.m. at Central Park West and 77th Street and will cover its traditional two-and-a-half-mile trek south through Midtown.

Last year, the route was cut into a single block due to pandemic precautions, which also prevented visitors from turning around to watch.

Flocks of tourists and locals line up early Thursday to make sure they have a good spot to watch the 28 float and 15 oversized balloons sweep through Manhattan.

Longtime classics like Snoopy and Papa Smurf will be featured, but also some newcomers like Ada Twist, the scientists from the animated children’s Netflix series, and beloved Baby Yoda from “The Mandalorian,” which is making its parade debut.

New floats this year include a dazzling alligator on wheels, filled with azalea, magnolia and Mardi Gras beads that will be a tribute to Louisiana and were created by the state’s tourism office.

Home viewers can tune in to NBC to watch the parade live from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

In addition to the NBC broadcast, viewers can also watch the fun for the first time via livestream NBC’s Streaming Service, Peacock, from 9 a.m. onwards in all time zones as well Fubo. Feather,
