Stop that pre-Thanksgiving panic: The Grammy nominations for 2022 will be revealed on Tuesday.
Taylor Swift, Lil Nas X, Billie Eilish and Olivia Rodrigo are all expected to be nominated, as are Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett. To be eligible for nomination, a recording had to be released between September 1, 2020 and September 30, 2021.
If it seemed like the 2021 Grammys were just five minutes early, that’s because last year, the Recording Academy Awards were pandemic-pushing in March instead of as usual in January or early February.
In the coming year, once again the show will be seen in the middle of the awards season.
The 64th Grammy Awards are set for January 31 in Los Angeles, an area soon to be known as the Staples Center. But come the nominations first — and here’s how you can check them out.
When are the Grammy Nominations?
Enrollment stream will start from Prashant on Tuesday at 9 am. Recording Academy Chief Executive Harvey Mason Jr. and Academy Board of Trustees Chairman Tammy Hurt will be honored. Other talents can be added.
