From Stoke to Silver Screen …
A biopic focused on the life of Robbie Williams is in the early stages of development.
Williams is set to direct the big screen of his life Greatest showman The filmmaker will tell the story of Michael Gracie and his rise to global fame – as well as his dark days, as well as the substance abuse.
Gracie has already spent several hours talking to Williams to get herself fully acquainted with the project – tentatively titled better man.
Gracie told time limit: “As we represent Robbie in the film, he is Bit Top Secret. I want to do this in a really original way.
“I remember going to the cinema as a child and there were movies that blew me away and inspired me to say that I was sitting there in the cinema, ‘I had never seen that before.” All I want is for the audience to realize that. ‘
Gracie said: “All I can say is that the approach is top secret, but the goal is to evoke the emotion I just described. This is this fictional story, and I want my hard reality to these moments of pure fantasy I want to represent it.
“Unlike some people who were born eccentric or musical genius and you follow the story of the world looking at their talent, this is not that story.”
Fans can expect to hear an array of Williams ‘hits in the film, including’She’The One’, ‘Angels’ and ‘Let Me Entertainment You’.
Explaining why he was drawn to the project, Gracey said he was interested by Robbie from “every man” who “dreamed big and followed those dreams and they took him to an incredible place” was.
He Said: “He is not the best singer, or dancer, and yet, he managed to sell 80 million records worldwide.
“You can relate to a man who does not see himself as an extraordinary talent, even if he does. They have the will, vision and confidence to say, I am going to chase my dream. “
A release date for the project is yet to be confirmed.
