It was absolutely delicious.

If I had tasted tested, I wouldn’t have been able to tell it wasn’t meaty, and I certainly would never have guessed it was vegetarian!

It has loads of delicious filling, tucked into a delicious bloomer. Taste wise I think this is better than the meaty alternative I have tried.

I will definitely recommend. – Chris Bridger-Linning

To me, that’s what all other Christmas sandwiches should aspire to.

No frills or gimmicks, just classic ingredients with an even distribution of meat and sauce. While no supermarket product will ever match an actual Boxing Day leftover sandwich, it comes as close as you might expect.

Morrison’s My Vegetarian Vegetable is a sort of sardine that leaves you feeling warm and fuzzy on the inside – it provides a kiss on the forehead when you realize it’s under 400 kcal.

The sage and onion bread is incredibly overpriced, but the vegetable fritters topped with a generous layer of red cabbage were the crumb de resistance. Finally, a vegetarian sandwich that doesn’t have a vegetarian flavor – hallelujah. – Kaya Terry

A real winner this one – in a soft, warm baguette with sausage, crispy bacon, stuffing and lashings of cranberry sauce.

This is everything you could want from a Christmas sandwich; Cushion Bread with Pigs in Blanket, Turkey, and Stuffing.

It was a festive feel as soon as the packet was opened because of the smell of sage from the stuffing.

The pigs in the blanket were a standout factor. My only complaint is that there could have been more cranberry sauce. – Connie Rusk

I don’t know what’s ‘classically Christmas’ about a cheese toastie and I’m in two minds whether that’s a good thing. It’s packed with delicious fillings—turkey, bacon, stuffing—so decidedly indulgent.

Tesco Turkey, Stuffing and Cranberry Sub

£2.75

While Morrison’s pigs in the blanket baguette overwhelmed me, I have a spirited story to tell over its rival Tesco’s Turkey, Stuffing, and Cranberry White Soft Sub, which fared much better.

As billed, the sub was really soft and the filling was nice juicy, with good sized turkey chunks.

Delicious, filling and good value at £2.75. A winner, winner turkey dinner! – Dan Holbrook
