The Masked Singer: William Shatner reveals identity after performing as Knight on reality competition’s season premiere

William Shatner was one of two celebrities who were eliminated at Wednesday’s season eight premiere of The Masked Singer on Fox after performing in a Knight costume.

The 91-year-old veteran Star Trek captain performed on a golden swan wearing a night mask. Before being exposed, Shatner said that he couldn’t believe it took him eight seasons to appear on the show.

“I was holding out for the hosting gig but Nick (Canon) keeps having kids so I guess he’s not going anywhere,” Shatner quipped.

Robin told him, ‘I’ve seen every Monty Python movie.

As for Hedgehog, he shared that he was naked in Playboy. He also said that he was part of one of the most famous groups of all time and had a cult following.

The Hedgehog performed the Beatles song Love Me Do with the college marching band. When he finished, confetti rained on him.

The Hedgehog shared that he took a Tony and Grammy as his clue. Kane thought it might be Ringo Starr or Elton John.
