“It’s a delightful meal, and a comfort food classic,” Drummond continued. “Chicken casserole typically involves browning chicken pieces in a pot over high heat, then roasting a mixture of vegetables — onions, peppers, mushrooms, tomatoes — in the same pot. The spices are added, followed by a little wine. , and the chicken and vegetables are allowed to cook together in the oven so that the magic can happen… and the magic happens.”
