Prince Harry and Meghan Markle left the royal family in 2020

In January 2020, Harry and Meghan made the surprising decision to step back from their roles as senior royals. Ever since he launched a direct fire on Meghan, the pair along with Paparazzi and Tabloid. Ever since he and Harry began a relationship back in 2016, Meghan was constantly being barricaded by the press, causing the general public to form negative opinions about her.

Constant negativity made it difficult for the two to do their job as properly functioning housekeepers, and Harry had indicated years earlier that they had one foot out the door. The two decided that, after spending six weeks in North America for the 2019 holidays, they would distance themselves as working members of the royal family. Queen Elizabeth’s statement quietly revealed that she never spoke to Meghan Markle about her return.

The queen issued a statement On 19 February, revealing that Harry and Meghan had decided to permanently remove themselves from the royal family. But a surprising sentence suggests that Meghan was not involved in the conversation about re-joining the family.

The Queen’s statement reads, in part, “The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have confirmed to His Majesty the Queen that they will not return as working members of The Royal Family.”

However, the next sentence is eye catching. “After a conversation with the Duke, The Queen has confirmed that it is not possible to continue with the responsibilities and duties that come with a life of public service due to the Royal Family moving away from work.”

Interestingly, Meghan’s name was omitted from the Queen’s statement. The Queen only accepted to negotiate with the Duke, not with the Duke and Duchess.

It is unclear what the name omission means for Meghan Markle’s relationship with the Queen.

Meghan and Rani were reportedly in good positions when Meghan and Harry first started dating. However, with the passage of time, there were rumors that Rani was not always happy with Meghan and Harry’s decisions.

Did the queen intentionally leave Meghan’s name? Certainly, if the queen had discussed a departure with the two of them, she would have mentioned it – or so we think. It appears that, by removing Meghan’s name from the statement, it suggests one of two things: either Meghan refuses to discuss the option of returning with the queen, or Harry and the queen realize this Didn’t mean that Meghan needed to be a part of the conversation. The two are a little worried, seeing how Meghan and Harry are life partners and make their decisions together.
