a source told Sun The celebrity had previously been unaware that their professional partner had not been captured, and has been stunned by the failure of BBC owners to secure their safety despite stringent COVID measures.

He said: ‘He could not believe that his partner would not be able to jab.

‘He thought that he would be protected so that his companion would know that there was no response, so it is very worrying.

‘The couple has already spent tens of hours practicing together. Obviously, there is a lot of anger and a lot of questions to be asked.

Following reports that a third professional dancer had refused the vaccine, former Strictly star James Jordan called for her to be kicked out of the show.

Speaking on Good Morning Britain with former pro Christina Rihanoff, James said: ‘I usually guard professional dancers until the cows come home but on this special occasion I unfortunately can’t.

“I definitely believe that they don’t deserve their right on the show and that celebrities have every right to refuse to dance with them.”

‘I think it’s a really, really selfish thing. And also, what you have to remember, over the years on Strictly, your immune system goes down, so a lot of people get sick anyway. This was long before the coronavirus.

‘So if you’re sweating and on top of someone, it’s strictly very close contact, as we all know, you’re at higher risk of spreading something like that.’

‘If it spreads and the whole show comes down or God forbid someone dies because let’s not forget that 150,000 people have already died from this terrible virus.

‘If someone on this show gets this virus and their immune system really goes down and they die, it could have been prevented.’

Even Prime Minister Boris Johnson entered the vaccine debate, telling GB News: ‘Everyone should make fun of themselves and I’m saying that not in a hectoring or bullying way, but just because I think it’s a great thing to do.
