Law enforcement agencies are continuing to search for Major Harris after the suspected murderer of his mother died by suicide as police proceeded to arrest him.

Authorities say a stranger found 25-year-old Mallery Muenzenberger dead with “obvious signs of trauma” in the garden on Thursday morning and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police then began a search for Major, who is believed to be with 20-year-old Jaheem Clark, the prime suspect in Ms Muenzenberger’s death.

Police traced Mr Clarke on Sunday, but when officers went to arrest him, they heard gunshots and he was found dead with “shot wounds to himself”.

“No law enforcement officer discharged a firearm at any time during the incident,” the Milwaukee Police Department said in a statement.

Major is described as a 3ft tall, light colored black child with delayed speech, weighs 40lbs, has braided hair and brown eyes.

He was last seen wearing a dark blue T-shirt with a small pocket on the left side, navy blue basketball shorts and no shoes or socks.

The car Mr. Clark was driving, a black 2008 Chevrolet Equinox with a Wisconsin license plate, has not yet been found.

Police have not said whether there was any connection between Ms Muenzenberger and Mr Clark.

Major’s father Carlton Harris Jr. has begged anyone with information about his son to come forward.

“Just approach some guy. Just get him home safely, that’s all I ask,” he told TMJ4.
